Alberta Open Farm Days 2024
August 17 & 18, 2024
We are excited to be a part of Alberta Open Farm Days 2024 which is an initiative to help connect folks to farms through open house style experiences. There are farms across the province that participate, some sharing in house or locally made goods, some sharing the food they grow through farm to table culinary experiences, and others providing educational opportunities by sharing what they do.
This is the second year we will be participating!
Join us on Saturday, August 17th to take a tour of the farm, learn about the animals we have here, perhaps get to pet one of our equine therapy horses and play some bull fighter tag where you will learn the basic moves of the sport of rodeo and freestyle bullfighting. We are home to regular sized beef cattle, miniature cows and also some rodeo cattle (those ones you can only meet from a distance).

2023 Alberta Open Farm Days Schedule
We are a commercial cow calf operation and wellness centre! We provide unmatched agriculture inspired experiences for mental health and wellness through equine therapy and the Equus Experience as well as cattle education including the Ultimate Bullfighting Experience. We have diversifications in miniature and rodeo cattle to support these programs, along with offering direct bulk beef sales.
Take part in a free farm tour showcasing miniature cattle, beef cattle, a retired bucking bull and horses. Registration is required below.
We will be offering the Equus Experience involving leading horses and learning about how they support our mental health for one hour at a cost of $20. Participants must be 8 years of age or older. (Max. 15 participants)
The Ultimate Bull Fighting Experience offers dry land cattle handling simulation games and activities for one hour at a cost of $20. Participants must be 8 years of age to participate. (Max. 15 participants)
Note: No outside pets or animals and closed-toed shoes are required.

11-12 – Bullfighting Experience (paid experience with registration required)
